1. Surah Az-Zumar (39:53)
ُْูู َูุง ุนِุจَุงุฏَِู ุงَّูุฐَِูู ุฃَุณْุฑَُููุง ุนََٰูู ุฃَُููุณِِูู ْ َูุง ุชََْููุทُูุง ู ِู ุฑَّุญْู َุฉِ ุงَِّููู
“Say: O My servants who have wronged themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins.”
๐น Meaning: No matter how guilty you feel, Allah’s doors are open. He wants you to come back — and He promises forgiveness.2. Surah Al-Imran (3:135)
َูุงَّูุฐَِูู ุฅِุฐَุง َูุนَُููุง َูุงุญِุดَุฉً ุฃَْู ุธََูู ُูุง ุฃَُููุณَُูู ْ ุฐََูุฑُูุง ุงََّููู َูุงุณْุชَุบَْูุฑُูุง...
“Those who, when they commit a shameful deed or wrong themselves, remember Allah and seek forgiveness — and who can forgive sins except Allah?”
๐น Meaning: Even if you’ve done wrong — the moment you remember Allah and ask forgiveness, He is ready to wipe it away.3. Surah At-Tahrim (66:8)
َูุง ุฃََُّููุง ุงَّูุฐَِูู ุขู َُููุง ุชُูุจُูุง ุฅَِูู ุงَِّููู ุชَْูุจَุฉً َูุตُูุญًุง
“O you who believe! Turn to Allah in sincere repentance.”
๐น Meaning: Allah doesn’t ask you to be perfect — only sincere. A pure, honest “Ya Allah, forgive me” is enough to start again.๐ฟ HADITH FOR GUILT AND FORGIVENESS
1. Guilt Erases Sin
The Prophet ๏ทบ said: “Remorse is repentance.”
— Ibn Majah, Hasan๐น Meaning: That pain you feel in your heart? That’s your tawbah beginning. Allah loves it. He accepts it.
2. The More You Return, The More He Forgives
“A servant committed a sin and said: ‘O Lord, I have sinned, forgive me.’ Allah said: ‘My servant has recognized he has a Lord who forgives sins... I have forgiven him.’”
— Sahih Muslim๐น Meaning: Even if you fall again and again — keep returning. Allah loves the ones who never stop repenting.
3. Angels Delay Writing a Sin
“When a believer commits a sin, the recording angel is told to delay writing it for six hours. If the servant repents, it is not written down.”
— Tabarani, Authentic๐น Meaning: Allah gives you a chance to fix it before it’s even recorded.
๐ธ DUAS FOR GUILT & REPENTANCE
1. Sayyidul Istighfar (The Best Way to Ask Forgiveness)
ุงَُّูููู َّ ุฃَْูุชَ ุฑَุจِّู، َูุง ุฅََِٰูู ุฅَِّูุง ุฃَْูุชَ...
“O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped but You… I admit my sins, so forgive me…”
— Sahih al-Bukhari
๐น If you say it sincerely in the morning and die that day, you will enter Jannah.2. Simple & Powerful:
ุฑَุจِّ ุงุบِْูุฑْ ِูู َูุชُุจْ ุนَََّูู، ุฅََِّูู ุฃَْูุชَ ุงูุชََّّูุงุจُ ุงูุฑَّุญِูู ُ
“O my Lord, forgive me and accept my repentance. Truly, You are the Accepter of repentance, the Most Merciful.”
3. Speak Your Guilt to Allah:
๐️ “Ya Allah, I feel so guilty. I failed You. But I still turn to You because You are Ar-Rahman. Please erase my sins, heal my heart, and help me never go back.”
๐ REMEMBER THIS:
Guilt is not punishment — it’s a signal to return to the One who loves you most.
Your past doesn't disqualify you from Allah’s mercy — it qualifies you for His forgiveness.
The one who cries in sajdah over their sins is more beloved to Allah than the one who never sins at all.
