QUR’AN VERSES FOR BETRAYAL & HEARTBREAK
1. Surah Al-Imran (3:159)
َูุงุนُْู ุนَُْููู ْ َูุงุณْุชَุบِْูุฑْ َُููู ْ
“So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them...”
๐น Meaning: Allah encouraged the Prophet ๏ทบ to forgive even those who hurt him — not because they deserved it, but because forgiveness frees your soul.
2. Surah Yusuf (12:18)
َูุตَุจْุฑٌ ุฌَู ٌِูู ۖ َูุงَُّููู ุงْูู ُุณْุชَุนَุงُู ุนََٰูู ู َุง ุชَุตَُِููู
“So patience is most fitting. And Allah is the One sought for help against what they describe.”
๐น Meaning: These were the words of Yaqub ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู after his own sons betrayed him. He didn’t collapse — he turned to Allah.
3. Surah At-Talaq (65:3)
َูู َู َูุชَََّْููู ุนََูู ุงَِّููู ََُููู ุญَุณْุจُُู
“Whoever puts their trust in Allah, He is enough for them.”
๐น Meaning: People may hurt you. But Allah will carry you.
๐ฟ HADITH TO STRENGTHEN A BETRAYED HEART
1. The Prophet ๏ทบ Was Betrayed Too
“They plotted against you, but Allah is the best of planners.”
— (Implied from Qur'an & Seerah)
๐น The Prophet ๏ทบ was betrayed by companions, tribes, and allies — but he remained firm because his heart was anchored in Allah.
2. The Oppressed Will Be Raised
“Beware the dua of the oppressed, for it rises above the clouds... Allah says: ‘By My Might, I will surely help you.’”
— Sahih al-Bukhari๐น Meaning: If you’ve been hurt unfairly — your voice is heard in the heavens.
3. Don’t Let Betrayal Break Your Trust in Allah
“Whoever leaves something for the sake of Allah, He will replace it with something better.”
— Ahmad๐น Meaning: If you let go of a person who betrayed you, Allah will send you someone better.
๐️ DUAS FOR WHEN YOU’VE BEEN BETRAYED
1. Dua of Justice & Peace
ุงَُّูููู َّ ุฅِِّูู ุฃَُِّููุถُ ุฃَู ْุฑِู ุฅََِْููู، َูุงْูุถِ ุจَِْููู َูุจََْูู ู َْู ุธََูู َِูู
“O Allah, I entrust my affair to You, so judge between me and those who wronged me.”
2. To Heal a Betrayed Heart
“Ya Allah, I was betrayed by those I trusted. My chest feels heavy. But I know You are Just. Please bring peace to my heart and justice in Your way.”
3. For Strength to Move Forward
ุงَُّูููู َّ ุงุฌْุจُุฑْ َูุณْุฑِู َูุงุฎُِْْูููู ุฎَْูุฑًุง ู ِู َّุง ُِููุฏْุชُ
“O Allah, mend my brokenness and replace what I’ve lost with something better.”
๐ REMEMBER THIS:
People fail. Allah never does.
Betrayal is painful — but it’s also a filter. Allah removes people to protect you.
Your dignity, healing, and peace are with Allah — not the one who hurt you.
“Whoever relies on Allah, He is enough.”
That includes protection, healing, and closure.
