Duas for Stress, Worry, and Sadness

“Indeed, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.”
(Surah Ar-Ra’d 13:28)

Stress is a test every believer faces. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the Sahabah also experienced emotional struggles — and Allah gave them healing through Dua (supplication). These Duas bring peace, relief, and spiritual strength.

🌿 1. Dua for Stress and Anxiety Relief

Taught by the Prophet ﷺ for sorrow, grief, and stress

🔹 Transliteration:

Allahumma inni a‘udhu bika minal-hammi wal-ḥazan, wal-‘ajzi wal-kasal, wal-jubni wal-bukhl, wa ghalabatid-dayni wa qahrir-rijaal.

🌙 3. Powerful Dua from the Prophet ﷺ in Times of Stress

🔹 Transliteration:

🔹 Translation:

Admits full dependence on Allah, seeking His mercy in every aspect of life, especially during emotional weakness.

🕊️ 4. Dua for Contentment and Calm

🔹 Arabic:

☀️ 5. Morning & Evening Dhikr for Emotional Protection

These are from the Sunnah, recited daily for inner peace:
