Dua for Rizq (Sustenance & Provision)
Rizq (sustenance) is not just money — it includes health, time, family, food, barakah (blessing), and peace of mind. True Rizq is what Allah makes pure, beneficial, and lasting for you.
🌿 1. Comprehensive Dua from the Prophet ﷺ
اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
Transliteration: Allahumma akfini bihalālika ‘an ḥarāmik, wa aghnini bifaḍlika ‘amman siwāk
Translation: “O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful, and keep me away from what You have made unlawful, and enrich me by Your grace from needing anyone other than You.”
(Tirmidhi 3563 – Hasan)This dua asks for halal provision, freedom from need, and independence from people.
📖 2. Qur’anic Dua for Sustenance (From Musa عليه السلام)
رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ
Transliteration: Rabbi innī limā anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqīr
Translation: “My Lord, indeed I am in desperate need of whatever good You send down to me.”
(Surah Al-Qasas 28:24)This is the dua Prophet Musa (A.S) made in distress — and Allah immediately provided him food, shelter, and a family.
🌅 3. Morning Dua for Rizq and Barakah
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا
Transliteration: Allahumma inni as’aluka ‘ilman nāfi‘ā, wa rizqan ṭayyibā, wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalā
Translation: “O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure (halal) provision, and deeds that are accepted by You.”
(Ibn Majah 925 – Hasan)The Prophet ﷺ would recite this after Fajr — seeking knowledge, halal rizq, and accepted actions.
🌧️ 4. Dua for Barakah in Rizq
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِي فِي رِزْقِي وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ
Transliteration: Allahumma barik li fi rizqi, waj‘alni minash-shākirīn
Translation: “O Allah, bless my sustenance and make me among the grateful.”Gratitude (shukr) increases blessings, as Allah says:
"If you are grateful, I will surely increase you."
(Surah Ibrahim 14:7)💎 5. Powerful Names of Allah for Rizq
Use the following names in your dua:
Ar-Razzāq – The Provider
Al-Karīm – The Most Generous
Al-Wahhāb – The Giver of Gifts
Al-Ghaniyy – The Self-Sufficient
Example: “Ya Razzāq, Ya Wahhāb, bless me with halal, vast, and continuous rizq.”
🌾 6. Important Actions That Bring Rizq
The Prophet ﷺ taught that several actions attract rizq:
Taqwa (God-consciousness):
“And whoever fears Allah – He will make a way for him and provide for him from where he does not expect.”
(Surah At-Talaq 65:2-3)Tawakkul (trust in Allah):
“If you trust Allah properly, He will provide for you like He provides for the birds — they leave hungry and return full.”
(Tirmidhi 2344)Charity (Sadaqah):
“Charity does not decrease wealth.”
(Muslim 2588)Seeking forgiveness (Istighfar):
“Ask forgiveness… He will send rain, increase wealth and children.”
(Surah Nuh 71:10–12)Maintaining family ties (Silah Rahm):
“Whoever wants increase in rizq and long life, let him maintain ties of kinship.”
(Bukhari 5985)🤲 7. Personal Dua for Rizq in Your Own Words
You can say from the heart:
“O Allah, open for me the doors of halal rizq. Make me content, self-sufficient, and thankful. Grant me ease in earning and bless every penny I earn and spend.”
